Super Easy Weekday Risotto

How about a super easy weekday food recipe?

I’ve always loved risotto, since I was a child.

When I moved to live alone at 18, exactly a month after I turned 18 actually, it was the food I wanted to cook.

Chicken risotto seemed so hard and a lot of work to do.

So, did every other kind also.

I have always enjoyed cooking and started doing foods for myself since I was ten.

But I didn’t want to do any dishes that would take a lot of time or, more importantly, a lot of money.

Since I really didn’t have much of it.

After long consideration I decided try the Finish staple, hamburger meat.

And use some frozen vegetables.

It was a simple, and cheap, solution.

The hamburger meat is delicious and easy to do, you can enhance the taste with the spices.

And the frozen vegetables are healthy and delicious, and also very cheap.

I experimented with different kinds of vegetables, and I must admit that my favorite is a mix of carrots with sweet peas and corn.

I usually have an extra bag of corn and I add generously from it also.

If you want to make it extra tasty, and not so healthy, add a bit of butter on the top.

SIMPLE RISOTTO

(For four)

2 dl of instant rice
Salt and spices
200 grams of frozen vegetables
200 grams of hamburger meat
Vegetable oil or margarine, salt, spices
Butter

1. Cook 2 dl of instant rice with the spice mix of your choice.

2. In another small pot cook the frozen vegetable mix of your choice. You can also add a can of sweet corn to add some flavor.

3. Fry the hamburger meat in a pan and add salt and spices. You can make it spicy and hot by adding some chili pepper or just put some ground pepper for taste.

4. Mix everything together, add butter on top and ENJOY!
