Playa del Murciélago is located in Manta.
Manta is a town in the province of Manabí, in the coastal area of Ecuador.
Ecuador's coast is filled with beautiful beaches and many of them can be found in the province of Manabí.
Manabí also has long history and culture of it's own.
There is a museum with artifacts, especially pottery, found from the town and the surrounding area.
Before the Spanish conquerors arrived the people from Manabí traveled far and traded with people from Western Mexico.
The town is also one of the culinary centers of Ecuador, filled with delicious food and fantastic restaurants.
Definitely a place to visit!
